Tamás Rolfesz
Country: HungaryI was born in Budapest in 1995, and I have lived here my entire life. I completed my studies at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, both in the bachelor's and master's programs. It was here that I directed my first short film, Missing Parts. After obtaining my degree, I began working in the field of VFX.
In terms of my creative interests, I’ve always been drawn to topics that depart from reality. This is why I feel most at home when working within genres like science fiction, fantasy, or horror. Besides filmmaking, I also have a strong interest in video game development and digital music composition.
Missing Parts [2026]
Missing Parts is an animated short film set in a fictional ancient civilization . The story follows a solitary character who navigates a strange environment in search of his freedom. As the protagonist encounters bizarre creatures and fragmented landscapes, the journey becomes a quiet exploration of identity, connection, and the quiet struggle to become whole in an alienating world. Blending abstract visuals with emotional subtlety, Missing Parts invites viewers into a poetic reflection on incompleteness and transformation.
