Emily Copp
Country: CanadaLiam MacLeod is a Vancouver based director, writer, and producer known for his fast-paced, absurdist comedies. Liam first gained recognition as part of the award-winning sketch group HumanTown, with projects winning accolades at competitions like the CBC Comedy Coup, Comedy Network's Exposed Competition, and an official selection at the JFL Northwest Film Festival. Today, Liam brings his comedic style to new projects, including short film "The Dinner Gatherers Club" and "Island Time" series in collaboration with Emily Copp.
Emily Copp is a writer and director based in Vancouver. She develops sketch-inspired comedies based on the absurdities of everyday life on the west coast. One of her latest creative projects, comedic series "Island Time" co-created with Liam MacLeod, earned a semifinalist spot in ScreenCraft's 2025 Pilot Competition and Big Break's 2025 Pilot Competition. The short film "The Dinner Gatherers Club" is her first production as a director.
Jemma Cotter
Country: AustraliaJemma is a creative and passionate filmmaker who has a hunger to tell stories about outsiders, weirdos, and anyone who doesn’t quite fit in. With a special place in her heart for comedy, Jemma has directed short films, commercials, short form series’, and even feminist erotica for a while. She’s previously scored two Best Director nominations from the Australian Directors’ Guild, as well as participating in the SBS Digital Originals and ABC’s Fresh Blood 3 programs co-financed with Screen Australia. She completed the First Break workshops with the Australian Writers’ Guild, and was a recipient of the VicScreen and Stan Comedy Development fund. She is available as a commercial director with Haven’t You Done Well Productions and would genuinely love to see a photo of your dog.
