Gemma is an award-winning stop motion director from London specialising in humour. Gemma started her career as an actress and comedian and moved into screenwriting; graduating from Royal Holloway University of London with an MA (dist.) in screenwriting.

Gemma started learning stop motion animation just 2 years ago and has since made 4 short films, 3 of which have won 5 festival awards. Her first 2 films from the ‘Hoe Street’ series were screened across the globe and are currently distributed by Aardman Animations. Hoe Street: Sharon is available to watch on The Short Film Show on Amazon Prime, where it won best original content.

Joseph Rocco Plescia is a Staten Island, New York based filmmaker. As a freelance filmmaker and producer, he has produced video and film work for companies including MTV, VH1 and Comedy Central to name a few. Joseph is also a full time FDNY Firefighter and uses his experience with dangerous situations to inform his work. He now produces and directs music videos, short and feature length films in various genres. He thrives in projects that are high in creativity and low on budget, making use of do-it-yourself techniques and aesthetics. His ultimate goal in the film industry is to create his own brand of DIY Action-Comedy and bring it into the zeitgeist with character-rich storytelling and old school guerrilla filmmaking tactics.
