Sam Orti Marti
Country: SpainSam, born in Valencia, has dedicated the last 20 years of his life to specialized stop-motion animation films. Where he has invested the most time and effort is in his own work, winning numerous awards with short films such as «Encarna», «The Werepig» or «Vicenta» and in his latest feature film «Pos eso». Today Sam continues developing personal projects and collaborating with other companies and studios around the world and expanding his knowledge to new disciplines.
Mo Matton
Country: CanadaMo Matton is a trans filmmaker based in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. They previously co-directed Swarm of Selenium (2017) and Fly Away With Me (2021), two short films created with collectives. Gender Reveal is their first solo directorial film. They are an IFFR Sessions alumni and past participant of the artist residency District* (Berlin).
Magdalena Mayr
Country: AustriaKollektiv 14 is a Vienna-based art collective working across photography, film, new media, and the performing arts. Founded by Magdalena Mayr, Martin Graf, and Max Hase, the collective blends academic research with experimental, interdisciplinary approaches. Their works, frequently shown at international festivals, explore themes such as identity, corporeality, masculinity, religion, and sexuality. Scientific theory is often interwoven with artistic practice in their projects. The collective’s experimental films challenge traditional narrative structures and investigate new artistic forms of expression. Kollektiv 14 has received awards including a “Special Jury Mention” in Vienna and the “Premio Capozzi Award” in Rome.
