4 Walls [1969]
The path that the seemingly unstoppable human ambition has carved throughout history is filled with many dark stories that illustrate the limits of what we deem morally acceptable.
These limits tend to expand and become more blurry when we look at mainstream pornography, as it is a zone that doesn’t concern itself with the ordinary rules and conventions of society.
Thanks to technological advances, we’re able to build a world that allows us to test the wildest waters without knowing how to swim, or without even having to leave the privacy of our own rooms. And although we might not really drown, the pressure is visibly starting to choke us.
As today’s cybersexual landscape melts the audience and the spectacle into one another, what we now know as “reality” starts to fall short when compared to the flawless and endless possibilities of personalized, on-demand generated fantasies.
