Camera And Toe Part 1 [1969]

This work originates from an experience of seeing a photograph of two women performing burlesque. In the image, the women, entwining their bodies and clasping hands, appeared as an eternal loop—reminiscent of an ouroboros. In the animation, the two female figures (the Camera-Human and the Toe-Human) insert their heads into each other’s hole on the body, forming a perfect circle, marking the beginning of the story.
