Callum Thomas
Country: AustraliaA storyteller since high school, I have always been captivated by the world of art and film. I took my first steps into storytelling as a child, making up scary stories like the ones I heard on the playground and sharing those stories with my friends.
From that point onwards I started writing and am yet to stop, from short stories to web series, storytelling has always been the core of my artistic expression and a great source of challenge and satisfaction for me.
I went on to get a diploma and advanced diploma in film and tv, learning as much as I could about the art and craft of film. I went off to create my first short film 'Kandahar' in 2019, since then I have been hooked and have consistently made 2 short films a year, with many of them available for view on this website.
While completing my bachelor of screen media I discovered my second love, Advertising, leading me to peruse a career in the space, going on to create the 2022 and 2023 TVC campaigns for Clark Rubber along with countless freelance gigs.
Besides this, I am an avid painter, nature photographer and experimental filmmaker, using these three mediums to test and train my own creativity. I enjoy the bush walking, archery and anything to do with the outdoors.
